Lawrence Rehab Hospital Earns Stroke Rehab Certification

Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital in Lawrence Township, N.J., has launched a specialized Stroke Recovery Program, led by Neurologist Dr. James A. Ware. At the same time, the hospital became one of the first in the nation to earn the American Heart Association’s Skilled Nursing Facility Stroke Rehabilitation Certification. The new program provides individualized care to help stroke survivors regain strength, mobility, communication, and cognitive function, supported by evidence-based practices and comprehensive patient and caregiver education.
