The first-ever Parkinson’s Support Group at Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital launched on April 29 in recognition of Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Led by speech-language pathologists Kristin Slagle and Donna Mininni, the group was created to provide information, resources, and a welcoming space for individuals with Parkinson’s, their caregivers, and community members. It continues to grow as part of the hospital’s Let’s Talk at Lawrence program.
