Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital has introduced “Let’s Talk at Lawrence,” a specialized speech therapy program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and related neurological disorders. The program includes SPEAK OUT!® and LSVT LOUD® therapies, both designed to help patients improve speech and swallowing. Certified speech-language pathologists provide these evidence-based treatments, which focus on strengthening vocal intent and recalibrating voice volume. In addition to therapy, the initiative will soon feature a Parkinson’s Support Group to offer resources and community support.
