The common areas were always kept very clean. I enjoyed the outside courtyard. It is very relaxing. The units were always nice and neat. As a nurse myself, I feel that every department was excellent. The staff was professional at all times. The food was excellent. The nursing staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond. The staff here was professional and very compassionate. I would recommend Lawrence to others because the care that I received was fantastic, which was very important for me!

When I found myself hospitalized at Capital Health with a GI bleed due to my diverticulitis, I knew Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital Subacute was the right place for me. I had previously been at Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital Subacute and wanted to go to a place that I knew, was close to where I live and has an excellent reputation. While I was on a cardiac/diabetic diet, the staff ensured I had well-balanced meals. The soup was by far my favorite, and I found myself ordering it for lunch and dinner. The staff truly went above and beyond. My physical therapist, Dawn was extremely encouraging and prepared me for discharge with an instruction book that I found very helpful. My occupational therapist, Ian made sure I received the correct equipment at discharge. I would highly recommend Lawrence Rehab to anyone. I came in at my worst and their programs helped me get back on my feet and prepared me to return home.

I went to Lawrence after a fall at home. I broke my hip and had to have extensive surgery. I was not strong enough to return to my home and after many conversations with family and friends, I chose Lawrence. I am so happy I did because everyone was so nice and caring. The physical therapist had me back on my feet in no time. There were days I didn’t feel like getting out of bed but with the help and kindness of the staff, they really motivated me to push myself. I can’t believe I get to go home tomorrow and I can’t wait to make my family dinner again!

I came to Lawrence Rehab from Capital after a fall that caused a brain bleed. The staff at Lawrence Rehab were nice, helpful, and upbeat. They were also very attentive to my needs. The therapy staff was excellent and worked me hard. They even got me outside on a beautiful day. I especially enjoyed working with my physical therapist, Brianna and my occupational therapist, Bridget. I would give Lawrence Rehab 5 Stars!

My stay here at Lawrence has been wonderful! Tommy was the first person to greet me when I arrived and he gave me such a warm welcome. The rest of the staff has been great too, from the nurses to the therapy staff… they all work so hard! I was pretty sick in the hospital and when I arrived at Lawrence, I was very weak. It took me some time but I am finally feeling better and am excited to get home to see my wife and my dogs. I would 100% recommend my family and friends to Lawrence if they ever need rehab.
